If you travel from further away and would like a place to stay whilst doing the course, we have a nice appartment with 2 bedrooms available for rent above the workshop, exclusively for people taking the course.
You’ll have your own room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The appartement has everything to cook, a television, Netflix and wifi.
If you’d prefer a hotel room, then maybe the Fletcher hotel is a nice possibility, only a 10 minute walk from the shop. For people who like camping in summer, you can also reserve a spot on Camping de Boekel in Akersloot or Camping Alkmaar. Besides these suggestions, there are way more hotels, hostels and Air bnb’s available in the surroundings.
The costs of staying in the appartment above the workshop are € 35,- a night or € 210,- a week.
About Heiloo.
The workshop is situated in the town Heiloo. Heiloo is located in the north west part of the Netherland and is close by historic city Alkmaar and the seaside town Egmond. Also Dutch capitol Amsterdam is only 30 minutes away with either train or car.
Our 2 and 3 week programs gives you the weekends off so plenty of time to visit and explore a little bit of the best of what Holland has to offer not to far away from the shop.
For example, borrow one of our bikes and peddle yourself to the seaside town Egmond and have a stroll on the beach. Or take the train in Heiloo and get out 25 minutes later at Amsterdam central station. A must see if you have not been there before and also if you have been. 😊
